About Me
Hello Sir/Madam,
I am Akash Chakraborty, a B.Tech ECE undergraduate from NIIT University.
I am born and brought up in Kolkata and currently studying in Rajasthan. I am open for opportunities across globe
My love for electronics came from that very day when I accidentally broke TV remote and the weird green patterned board inside fascinated me to a great extent. Thus began my story as an enthusiast. But being from typical school background I forced myself into the school life and its monotonous curriculum, which killed or rather trapped the enthusiast in me.
The resurrection happened in the university robotics club where again the circuits amazed me with their intellectual beauty.
Today, I am the coordinator of that same Robotics club. With numerous software and hardware projects up my sleeve, the enthusiast still lives with the hunger for more knowledge and learning new skills.
I am looking forward to work in the real time industry, learning and implementing innovation with high level of agility and passion.

My Projects
Line Follower
One of my very first projects where we had to use two IR sensors and two Dc motors for making a line follower! It was a bit erroneous in the first phase but later i upgraded it with an array and bit-wise programming
Robo-soccer (Wired)
It was a basic car controlled by a set of DP-DT Switches and running on a 12V battery. The club members took it to BITS Pilani Tech-fest and we won it without compromising any goals to the opponent.
Factory Inventory GUI Software
This was my first ever computer project since I had a PCMB combination in my boards. But as a beginner I managed it quite well. It was totally made in python and the Tkinter module for rendering the UI and the database software I used was sqlite3. The major reason for using Tkinter was to hard code the entire UI without drag-drop, which would allow me to get my concepts clear
Green House System
This was one of my first IoT projects where I made use of Arduino Uno R3 as the micrcontroller development board and the ESP8266 module to automate the temp, humidity and even the soil moisture. Basically it was a functional Automated Green House.
Later I manged to get rid of the Arduino Uno and replaced it with Wemos D1.
The cloud service or platform I used was ThinksSpeak.

Desktop Based Translator
This was a Desktop based translator for all the European languages. This too was made by using python and this time instead of Tkinter I made use of PyQt5 which is also a great tool for making GUIs in python.
Light Follower (No-Microcontroller)
This was a totally new challenge for me to make a light follower robot which would not only change its direction of movement with the movement of light but also change its speed with the intensity of light projected on it at an accuracy of 100%. All this would have been easy but another challenge was I couldn't use microcontrollers.
I achieved this with the help of Op Amps, Voltage Regulators, Gates and LDRs
